Checking Control Arm Bushings?

Hi. What is the best way to check control arm bushings? (ideally
without removing the springs ;-)

the only thing u can do is look at them, if there cracked replaced them and
if there original, then most likley there in need of replacement, and poly
kits are cheap and easy to install
