My car is gone

I got up at 4 AM Sunday, looked out the window and there was my Fiero
- gone. It was parked between two cars in my driveway. Must have
taken some manouvering to get it out over my neighbours lawn. This
is the 3rd car stolen from me in 2 yrs and I'm getting a bit paranoid.

I bought this car in California, low miles and needing attention.
Never been winter driven and no rust anywhere. I did all the engine,
suspension, electrical, and interior work, now all for nothing. I
was setting up for repainting in few weeks but that's not likely to
happen.

Times like this I wished I lived in the US so I could own a gun and
shoot the bastards.

After a recent trip to Canada, it seems to me you're
better off losing a car every now and then. But
losing three cars is a bit much. I can't GIVE the
things away and they steal yours. You never had
leads on any of them? Sounds like you need Lojack
and a tire iron.

Good luck getting it back, Pete. Sorry about your
losing it as I know what it is when you put so much
into them.

Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada the car theft capital of the world. The
last car that got swiped was by a kid who had more than a hundred cars
under his belt. He gets sent right home and apparently (at least
once) went out again after being caught that day and swiped another
car. It's a game. These underaged thiefs know the rules and what
they can get away with.

I'm guessing my car will be stripped at a chopshop. The work required
to get at my car compared to easier cars to take, makes me think I'll
never see it again. At best it'll be totaly trashed.
