I own a 1985 Pontiac Fiero GT that I have owned since it was new and I
am ready to sell the vehicle. I would be grateful for suggestions on a
price to sell it for.
It has about 136,000 km on it, and although it is in good condition, is
in a phase when it is not running. Previously when it has stopped
running when hot or it won't start at all, either the fuel pump or
exhaust manifold has been the problem source. But as I am moving and do
not want to spend money on a repair, there is no guarantee as to what
the actual problem is.
Although the paint has faded, the body is undamaged except for sail
panel cracks to the clear plastic, and the car has no problems with
burning oil, and it passed its last emission test required in the
Canadian province of Ontario with flying colors. About four years ago it
got new calipers and pads and has been driven very little since then.
In 1999 I had the car rebuilt to a spec I set as equal to a Fiero of
about 4 years age and in "better than good" condition. It has the
original stereo AM/FM cassette radio and all accessories work except the
AC which I had disconnected after the fourth year of operation.
Any help on pricing will be appreciated for this car that will be sold
in London, Ontario, Canada.
